Going With the Wind…

In preparation for the 24-Hour Britcar round at Silverstone, Aquila Racing Cars, Nigel Mustill and Tolman Motorsport have conducted a very successful wind tunnel session in the MIRA wind tunnel. The session validated the design of the Aquila CR1's aerodynamics and its inherent good balance.

Testing of various subtle tweaks enabled useful gains in downforce to be made, whilst maintaining or improving the lift-to-drag ratio.
