Danish special saloon car champion Claus Christensen has
switched to the Aquila CR1 LS7. After dominating last season, Claus
obviously believes he can improve on last season and will be the
first person to compete with a CR1 LS7 inside Denmark!
The current champion looks to secure the GT title twice in a row
and with the coming season fast approaching construction on the car
is well on its way with most of the major components already
mounted to the chassis. 4-way dampers and the very popular LS7
engine, the specification certainly suggests this car has been
designed for the title. Combine that with the performance from the
driver last season and you have a recipe for success.

The mood towards the coming season within Aquila seems to
be high with several LS7 powered CR1's been ordered globally, this
however will be the first CR1 LS7 to compete in Denmark and will
make a fine addition to the grid. The Aquila CR1 LS7 already broke
the Britcar lap record at Silverstone under wet conditions in the
Britcar 24 hour race last October.
With the season fast approaching the Aquila factory is very busy
producing cars to be shipped worldwide. All the cars in current
production will use the 7.0L V8 LS7 engine which shows the extent
of which this engine can enhance an already quick cars performance
and yet still be an affordable option for many race teams with GT3
equivalent performance for a much lower cost.
Thinking about becoming an Aquila owner? Not sure on what to
race this coming season?
