series engines, made from one solid 6082 T6 aluminium block.
The new oilpan will make the car
stiffer in the rear, and ease maintenance of the clutch, gearbox
etc.
The old oilpan + engine mounting
plate, is replaced by the new stronger and lighter
drysump/chassis.
