Aquila racing cars are proud to announce an all new engine
available in the CR1, The GM LS7 has 550 hp and can deliver 637NM
of torque from 4,500RPM. The new engine is now available to all
clients with an Estimated top speed of excess 310Km/h (210Mph) and
a 0-100Km/h (62Mp/h) of around 2.9 seconds. The 7.0 litre V8 only
weighs 10kg more than the current factory car, meaning the CR1 LS7
only weighs in a 900KG!

A version has already arrived in the UK where
it will compete in the remainder of the Britcar championship for
Nigel Mustil's, Team wessex racing. A remap was needed so the
engine could be de-tuned to meet regulation spec, this only
emphasises the enormous amount of power the CR1 LS7 holds.

The success behind this has prompted a change
in the way the CR1 will be promoted, now an LS7 will be
fitted to a factory CR1 and will be used for further development
and to showcase this stunning piece of engineering.
