The Aquila CR1 Sports GT is a 2-seater coupé build purely for racing, on track events, track days and racing schools.

The CR concept is developed with the following points in mind:

1) low purchase price (Request a quote)
2) cheap to run, and
3) a car capable of challenging both experienced and inexperienced drivers and teams.

By doing this together the fact that safety is prioritised higher than the lowest weight possible, we have created a sports car accessible to a big market.

A design that resembles the FIA/LEMANS SERIES SPORTS GT adds to the overall impression of the car.

Cockpit, chassis and control panels is designed such that the car can suit both small and big drivers, with one passenger onboard, without the car exterior being compromised.

The car is delivered with one set of rims with slicks; the bodywork is primed ready for paint. A manual, fuel cell approval and other documents follows the car.

Multi display integrated in steering wheel. Switches and fuses in central panel placed in the ceiling.

Shifter in centre console. Pedal box and steering wheel is adjustable. Build in air-jacks.
Chassis
Riveted and glued aluminium monocoque. Roll over structure and engine frame in steel piping.

Bodywork
Fibreglass reinforced polyester and epoxy. Front and rear bodywork consist of smaller part screwed together for lower service cost. Lights front and rear for night racing.
Aerodynamics
Splitter and diffuser in the front, front mounted radiator build in to improve downforce, diffuser tunnels and one element rear wing.
Safety
Strong layout of chassis and roll over structure compliant with FIA Group CN, laminated front window with heating, FIA FT3 safety fuel tank (80L), 6-point harness, energy absorbing nose integrated with radiator, electronically activated fire extinguisher with nozzles in cockpit and engine bay, quick release steering wheel, quick release doors.
